AA Int. First Vs. Business.

Some observations..I think AAs First Class product on their Trans-Pond Service on the T7s is as good as Any Carrier (their Flagship Suites) maybe better...BUT their Business Product with 2-3-2 seating is not Competitive with other Foreign Carriers..Don't know the load factors in J class..if they are always Full...no need the change...It is the Bottom Line after all...But if AA is losing pass. to say BA in J class...I think Removing the Middle seat and perhaps one row in J.class would go along way to improve that Class..I would also add the Suites to Trans Pacific Flts.as well in F...But what do I know .I don't run the Airline...Later SW..

Very few people traveling in AA J class are paying full fare. Most are upgraders and those traveling on discounted corporate tickets. Most people on full fare J tix are upgrading to F. Based on this, AA's product makes sense for those who use it. Of course, upgrading the cabin could result in more premium traffic.

Keep in mind that AA's 763 J class cabin features an upgraded meal service compared to that on the 777.
