Ordinary economy on 767s is mediocre at the best.. no PTV.. from memory, seat pitch ain't great either.
however Y in the A332 is good, new seats and has PTVs in every seat.
Their deluxe class product has the best value for money for flights opb their B744s because their Y class products is nothing great and their current C class product (Super Business) is pretty dated and needs improvement badly. Their first class is not bad though. The new Premium Laurel class however is much improved and is a very good product.

You may very well see the A330-200s on the SYD route next year. Two B767-300ERs are expected to leave EVA in April and May 2005.
I don't think any alliances are planned for EVA. In a recent interview, they said they were happy with codesharing and at this point, did not want to join a global alliance. The Evergreen Club (EVA's FFP) is available for passengers of all countries.
I have never flown in Economy on their B767s or their A332s. I would definitely say the A332 product is miles ahead of the B767 product. Airbus Lover is correct. There are no PTVs on the 767s, and the seat pitch is a meager 31"/32". The seat pitch on 747s and A332s are 33"~34".
