Korean has placed orders for 5 A380s, with options on three more. The orders were placed last year.

Korean Air has ordered 5 A380s with 3 on option. First will be delivered in Nov. 2007, and I guess one of the flights would go to LAX or NRT.

Speaking of Korean Air, I remember a post/thread here about Korean Air working on a new livery/corporate image. What's the latest on this?

Remember that the A380s will not necessarily all be in pax configuration. Korean has a freighter conversion option on them. So we might see a few freighters as well in Korean colors!
The first delivery will be in early 2008.

A388 - the new corporate image is just that...no change to the exterior, only changes on the inside. New seating for all classes as well as new uniforms. Outside colours will remain the same.

Time has been kind to the Korean Air livery. I think it is very pleasing to the eye, although sometimes a refresh without too much change may seem appealing too.
