Switching From T7 To T8 In LAX

I have to switch from T7 to T8 in LAX. I was wondering if I would have to leave security, or can I walk inbetween them without exiting security? I am switching from Ted to Skywest(UAEX), so will I have to check in again? Thanks!

No, you need to check in at the ticket counter for connecing with your flight and you can pick them up with your boarding pass for final destination cities from LAX. You will not need go to checkpoint at LAX and you will need get through into the concourses.

ScottysAir is right, I did it two days ago. Terminal 8 is not really seperate from terminal 7 so much, it's a very quick walk. There is actually a Ted gate in what would be considered terminal 8, you might not have to walk much at all. Watch out though, there aren't many shops or restaurants open in terminal 8, so get a bite or shop over in terminal 7.

No, there is no need to check in again at LAX. I'm sure you will be checked in for all your flights from your original point of departure since you are travelling on Ted/United Express. Terminals 6-8 are all connected so you don't have to reclear security to move between them. Have a great flight!

Thanks UALAX! I have never flown on TED before, so I'm looking forward to the flight, as short as it is(LAS-LAX), and my dad flew for Skywest, so that will be fun to fly on them....and I haven't been to LAX forever, so I am hoping for some great spotting! Smile/happy/getting dizzy

As UALAX said, T6-8 are connected. If you have the chance, check out T6 with Continental and Delta aircraft.

Correct! I did not go to LAX for me either and maybe someday will able go there in the future. I know anywhere in LAX airport into their website. You will not go to the ticket counter again and you will receiving with boarding pass frmo your origin cities.
