It depends on each airline, and besides a lot of airlines have yet to release their cabin configurations for the A380 as yet.

Using QF as an example though it's 744's are variously configured between 359 and 432 seats. Although QF has intended to have it's A380 at 515 seats (although this is not confirmed as yet)

To give an exact figure, the A380 will initially be certified to carry 555 passengers. As Roberta stated, this represents a roughly 35% increase over the standard 3 class 747-400 layout.

For your info, the Corsair 744s will have 587 seats !!  Nuts  Nuts  Nuts the A380 will only beat that number when the 1st high-density EK aircraft will be delivered.

THe 1st corsair 744 (ex-UA) is expected to be delivered by mid-July.

AF-A319,

What are they going to do, cram passengers into bird cages and stack them on top of each other?  Big grin

All passengers will be required to stand for the entire flight. No seats are provided, and restraints will be hung from above.

I've always thought that would be a great idea for LCC's on very short-haul city hops. Stand up leaners with lumbar supports like in espresso-rapido bars in Italy. Still only get six abreast in a 737 but oh so many more rows of very happy and satisfied passengers.
