BA At DFW 6/13/04

Hey I went to DFW to pick up my dad last evening and noticed that the BA 772 was still there at 745pm. It finally departed at about 8pm but my question is - what was the holdup? Was this the 2192/2193 flight to LGW or was it a diversion due to bad weather in some other city? I'm guessing it was just delayed but 3.5 hrs? It usually leaves DFW at about 430pm but left at 8pm...long delay. Just curious.

Yesterday Houston had very severe storms that moved through slowly. Possibly a diversion from IAH but not sure.

I can confirm that there was a hold at IAH yesterday as mentioned above. IAH was hit rather severly with a slow moving cell. Frankly I am suprised that Pakistan did not divert to DFW as that BA flight is usually just ahead or behind PK 719 if memory serves.
