I am always wondering that apart from travelling benefits what other benefits do you get for working for an airline ??
As I was reading the thread on "Worlds best paid pilots" many said that they have better compensations, and other benefits..... I would like to know what those benefits are.... that the pilots get.

You get, if you are lucky, the benefit of Ramp Access, and even more: seeing the planes every day, working on them, until You almost want to never see one again...lol
I would love to work with planes...

The benefits are ok, but not as good as they used to be.
We do get discounted medical/dental/optical insurance, which is good.
Sick pay etc ony comes into force after a certain amount of time, so if you are on a seasonal contract (as most cabin crew are) you dont qualify.
Partners can be taken on trips on the jumpseat for a fee if there is space, and I suppose the free tickets are not bad, but to be honest you dont have time to go anywere because youre always working!
Other benefits are discounted Gym membership, and of course I get to fly every every day!
Which is probably quite a lot of you a.net members dream!

We do get discounts from certain companies, depends on the agreements. But my joy in this industry is two things, cheap travel, and being around airplanes everyday of my life. I am doing my hobby for pay. Aint that cool

Exactly my words as well. That is one of the reasons I work in a airline. And I can go out to the ramp whenever I want. That is really great
