In May I flew 7 sectors with Lufthansa and All Nippon, handed my BMI star alliance card in on all sectors, only 2 of my flights have been rewarded to date both on the inbound sector from Japan!
I have sent my ticket reciepts and Boarding cards to BMI over 2 weeks ago and still have no rewards!
Is anyone else experiencing simlar problems?

Had to wait up to 6 weeks for a manual reward with UA on a Star Alliance RTW ticket.
Another time, I lost a boarding pass. TG computers were down @ check-in, so they then denied that I was on the flight to United. Eventually, I asked them to check the manifest with LHR. Whole thing took 3 months. Jeez. I learned an important lesson!
Was your FFP number on the boarding passes? If so, you were unlucky. I would give them another 3 weeks then chase them. Unless you need the miles now to book a reward ticket, is there a rush?

My friend, I had the same thing with AA, from GRU to JFK and then to CLE with American Eagle.
It took almost 3 months so they could get my miles to the JJ FF card. But I got it.
They probably do that so that U won´t use the miles, .
Check if your ticket was elegible for miles, once I went Miami with AA but got no rewards cause I got the Y class seat in a promotion, and the regular seat was about USD 50,00 more, then there´s nothing to do, just look better the next time.
Hope that helps.

Don't want to put you off, but it took 6.5 months for my EK miles to be awarded to my BA account... moral of the story is: keep copies of everything you send, log everything you send, and keep at them. 2 weeks is insufficient time if the 2 airlines involved do not have compatible computers, as per BA and EK where it has to credited manually (including me chasing them up twice a month for 6.5 months).

Ive had this loads of time, currently ive 990,000 miles and next week do a LCY-MAN-IAD-EWR-JFK-LHR Segment putting me almost on the million.
Pity the mil is with several airlines.
I'd say 10% of those ive had to chase up, send off a ticket receipt etc etc.
in general i find it takes a few weeks but they always pay up and credit as it's bad for future PR.
The worst was moving from the US to the UK, I had to transfer my NWA to KLM, NWA transfered them but KLM didnt credit them.
After 6 emails, to and fro, cc'ing both airlines with all the replies each airline constantly declined responsibility, KLM even said NWA were lying in their email in one reply. I even arranged a conference call between both airlines to resolve it, both declined. Eventually I called a newspaper and the miles were credited next day with an apology.
For this reason (and problems in the past) I only have 1k of my miles in KLM (which were mostly in NWA)
So far in 2008 45 flights and Gold already. JFK, IAD, LGA, SIN, HKG, NRT, AKL, PPT, LAX still to book ! Home Airport LCY
