I was wondering, What is the average age of it's fleet of 757s? I was wondering this because they seem to potentially be a large 7e7 operator, is that safe to assume or have they already planning for something else. I also remember a post awhile discussing that they might start service to DEN, SEA maybe LAX, is there any news on that front?

Icelandair to SEA.. .hmmm. I wish we had something to backup that statement. I would love to fly them to LHR via Reykjavik. If they did get 7E7s for longer-haul flying, I would what their international service would be like? PTVs? AVOD? Interesting...

Boeing has already decided on the 3 variants of the 7E7 as follows:
1. The short range version, which seats 287 passengers in a two-class layout and has a range of 3,500nm (6,475km), and is designated B7E7-3
2. The baseline aircraft, which seats 217 passengers in a three-class layout and with an 8,500nm (15,725km) range, and is designated B7E7-8
3. The stretch version, which seats 257 passegers in a three-class layout and has a range of 8,300nm (15,355km) and is designated B7E7-9
So I guess the B7E7-8, would be the only possible replacement, but that would only be for the B753s, but they are pretty new though (the 752's capacity is too small)
