I have a quick question. I'll be flying BOS-F R A in F class with LH at the end of August.
What should I expect from their service? Is the food better than business class or
the same? What about an amenity kit? I found the LH WWW site very unhelpful
in giving this information.
Thanks in advance,
Tony

1) Food is great. You will get a full caviar service, and food that rivals the best F class has to offer.
2) Seat: While not a "suite," still very nice.
3)Amenity kit: Not all that great. It has the essentials, but nothing that really sets LH apart.
4) Sleeper shirt: You will get a nice sweatshirt to sleep it. Take it with you!

The food is quite good. The service you will get should be quite good. They even give first class passengers roses with their meals. The seat is good, but not great. It is flat and comfortable with ample storage, but not a suite like other airlines. I also think that the amenities are nice because in addition to the basic amenity kit you also get a sleeper shirt and slippers. LH first class is a nice experience. You should be pleased with LH. While not the best, they give a good overall albeit slightly bland experience. Everything is good, but not superb (like SQ, EK or others).
If you have never designed an airplane part before, let the real designers do the work!

are you going AB) (FRA / FRF / EDDF), Germany">FRA-BOS in F,too? if so, look forward to the meals on _that_ flight. F on LH is always really good but on flights ex Germany, they always got some three star cooks "designing" the meals for them.

Zrs70 and RoseFlyer,
Many thanks for the information. It was very useful and I can't wait to get on the flight!
Daumueller,
Yes, I'm flying both legs in F.
