Pardon me if I am starting a topic that has already been discussed somewhere else, or even worse, something that is not an unusual occurrence nowadays, but I was in CLE yesterday and saw a CO 762 and 772 parked next to each other, at gates. I can't remember which gates though, but nonetheless, a 762 and 772 at CLE! What was this for? As far as I'm aware, the only international service out of CLE is on a CO 752 from CLE-LGW. Also, I thought that CLE was not an airport that regularly receives widebody aircraft. What were these A/C there for??? Thanks.

Although I did not see them, I can only guess diversions from EWR. We get an occasional 777 from them.

If they were parked at the end of A-concourse, then they must have been international flights diverted from EWR. The end of A (A-13 and A14) and B-1 are the only customs gates.
