Hi, we have booked a weeks holiday in Palma for the 17th-24th July. We fly out on Monarch from Gatwick and return on First Choice Airways to Gatwick. Does anybody know what aircraft type either flight would be? Here are the details:

17th July
Flight: MON5322
Depart: 22:50
Arrive: 01:55
Gatwick-Palma

24th July
Flight: FCA273D
Depart: 17:00
Arrive: 18:25
Palma-Gatwick

Good Morning,

My friend flew on MON5322 and it was a Boeing 757 series 200, so I would have thought that’s a safe bet. I think on your return it could be an Airbus A320 or Boeing 757 but not sure.

Kimberly.

I have another question. Our itinerary states that our Monarch flight MON5322 departs at 22:50, however on the BAA charter schedule it says that it departs at 23:40 between 3rd July and September. Now do we go to the airport just about an hour later or is the flight at 22:50 as originally planned?

VSGirl,

When did your friend fly this route, because i think it is an extra route for the summer holidays as it only runs from July to September. And if it was last year then the schedules may have changed, but thanks for your input Big grin

Anyone know the aircraft of the FCA flight? Anybody see it depart to Palma at 12:40 this afternoon? Thanks

Our tickets say 22:50, however we booked through expedia of whom do not have a great "relation" to Monarch (unlike Avro for example) so they may be incorrect and also a couple of years back my friend flew this flight and he said his flight departed at about 23:45 so it is more likely to be that. I have emailed the customer services and asked, but last time i did that, i never received a reply.

MON have confirmed that it is a 22:50 departure, so thats that  Big grin.

Is there a decent possibility that my Monarch flight could be operated by an A330 or A300. As far as i know i cannot find any long haul ops on a saturday from Gatwick (dunno bout MAN) although there is a flight to SFB from NCL. I would love to get on one of those A300's because it would probably be my only ever chance to do so, and the A330's are great!  Big thumbs up
