I'm flying OS 88 JFK-VIE tomorrow. Anyone know which A332 is operating that route tomorrow? Also, those of you who've flown OS longhaul, what's the service like? (Economy) Menus? Decent seat pitch? Any reccomendations for what to do during a 5 hour layover in Vienna? (Never been there before...) Thanks!

Hi!
I can't tell you what A332 it will be, but I've flown lots of times with Austrian Airlines, also long-haul flights.. The A332 has got TV-screens for each seat, even in economy-class. Menu was ok (my flights...), I had the choice between two different meals. Seat pitch was enough, I'm 1.88 and it was not uncomfortable...
But don't expect too much, OS is saving money whereever they can...
For your layover in VIE... Is there anything that you find interesting or you want to see in Vienna? We have an express-train CAT (CityAirportTrain), which takes you from the airport to the city center in exactly 16 minutes. From the city center, it's just one stop to the "Riesenrad"... But ask that your flight attendant or someone in Vienna
I hope I could help you and wish you a pleasant journey and nice five hours in Vienna!
