I came across this website regarding an aviation exhibit that is taking place at the old TWA terminal starting in Oct. This is a great chance to step back in aviation history. Here's the link http://www.terminalfive.com/flash/index.html

What is going on here?? I thought we were getting a new B6 terminal there. I love the TWA terminal.; but enough is enough. Let's really use it already. What is the status of the redevelopment project?

I'm looking forward to the exhibition, as the MoMa has contacted me to use some of my photos in the exhibition's catalogue (possibly for display as well).
I hope I can make it to NYC, now that EK flies nonstop, it should be a nice trip from DXB.

Personally I disagree with Jfklganyc - I feel Terminal 5 should be preserved in its entirety as an aviation museum, complete with historic aircraft docked up to it. Of course, its completely impractical, but it would be nice. It would also be a good way to showcase aviation to the travelling public, and show them that it isn't all doom, gloom and a 3 hour wait.
Will the boarding satellites be maintained at T5, or will they be demolished/rebuilt when JetBlue takes over? Is there any official website for the redevelopment project?
