Lauda Air 777 To Be Painted In Austrian Colours?

A few weeks ago I read in a magazine (Airways or Airliners or ?) that one of Lauda Air´s 3 B777 was to be repainted in Austrian Airlines colours. Anyone with further info on this?

According to my last information, all three NG B777 will be painted in OS´s new c/s together with new interior-design and C-Class frm March until May 2005.

Very sad. The Lauda livery on the 777 is one of the best combos out there. I love their livery!

That's a real shame - my first 777 flight was on NG (Amadeus class too ! Very nice). The new OS colour scheme is absolutely vile, I cannot find the words to express how bad it is - all made worse by the fact that the old c/s was really nice.

Just found the article again. It was in the lastest issue of Airliner World. It mentions that one Lauda Air 777 and one 767 will be paintet in Austrian colours. At the same time two Austrian A321 and one A320 will be paintet in Lauda Air colours.

Seems as if the AUA Group is doing a fleet swap to be able to handle different or changing requirements of Austrian and Lauda.
