Well I just bought a new camera and was wondering if anyone knew of any good plane spotting areas at any of the air ports. I am new to the area and dont know the airports very well. Thanks.

There really aren't too many good places to spot in TUS. The one place I've been is over by Hamilton Aviation. Not only do you get some decent picks of planes taxiing but there are a whole bunch of planes in storage. Other than that nothing very exciting. There also aren't a lot of commercial movement especially when you compare it to PHX. There are a lot of fighter movements though.

Yeah, I live on base so I get to see alot of military planes although I am not allowed to take pictures of them off of the flight line. Thanks for the suggestion though.

TUS spotting info is at http://www.cactuswings.com.

Under "Visitor's Information" click on 'Tucson region', and you'll find a wealth of information.

If you haven't been yet, go to the Pima Air & Space Museum. Lots of planes there of all types, some pretty rare.
