I just got news that GVA had been closed for an hour or so and reopened 15 mins ago, with the fire brigade pulling off from the tarmac... anyone knows what happened?

There are no news on www.gva.ch. But on the schedule it looks like:
LONDON - LUTON EZS 907 14:15 14:24 Departed B42
was the last flight who left GVA. Unless they don't update their schedule on a regular basis.

Roland doesn't have access and sent me following email (free translation from German to English):

A privat jet had a problem and was standing quite a long time between the runway and the taxiway. The plane "lost" something unidentified. Around 18:25 the plane was removed and the first planes landed again.

A Learjet -- SE-DZZ -- had an engine fire and an emergency was declared.

Have a photo of the aircraft in GVA, but the person who took it has not given permission to release it. The aircraft looks like it is fine though.

You guys are great!

Thanks a lot Gabriel. Btw, Roland sent me an e-mail some hour and a half ago.

I guess they had two painfully busy hours afterwards...

Cheers to both of you, and Gabriel bear my greetings to Roland.
