Shares of Brazil's LCC Gol Airlines jumped 7 percent on Wall Street on thursday after the country's newest and rapidly growing carrier sold 20 percent stake to the public. The airline raised $280 million through IPO and the money will help finance its expansion that could eventualy triple the company's fleet of 737s.
They started with 6 new B737-700 , now has 22 jets , expect to take delivery of three more within months and add 43 more 737s by 2010.The company will announce by the end of this year new destinations which includes other latin america destinations.
