I'm assuming you mean RJ service from CoEx.
This is a really interesting, and, IMHO, random route. CO isn't that big in Colorado, compared to UA and F9, and they're not big in SoCal either other than flights to NY and other CO hubs and again, compared to other airlines.
So who does that leave to fly CoEx b/t LAX and MTJ? Will the advertising be worth the expense? Nonetheless, interesting to see a new route start and wish CoEx all the best with it.

Interesting news. Continental/Continental Express are slowly expanding on non-hub routes. AFAIK, all they have are SEA-ANC, LAX-HNL, MFE-MEX, SAT-MEX, and, now, LAX-MTJ (excluding Continental Connection, Continental Micronesia, and international tag-ons). Any others?

I guess BOG-UIO would be considered an International Tag-on?

I almost choked on my food when I read the title, I thought for sure they replaced one of the IAH-LAX, or more likely one of the CLE-LAX frequencies with an ERJ. This is a real oddball, and I haven't even been able to find it in the schedules. Is it being operated on the behalf of some other carrier or is it like a scheduled charter? I have seen no mention of this new trip anywhere!

Does this mean we'll be seeing more Continental Express flights out of LA or other non-hub airports in the future?

I wonder if Continental has any other surprises in store for LAX. LAX-MTJ-LAX is only 4 hours utilization on that ERJ unless they do; but maybe they'll ferry it in from ONT or someplace similar.
