Route- Washington D.C to Kabul,Afghanistan, via Beneva.
Starting Operation on the 14th of July
"The Swiss Skies offering has been designed to maximise traveller security, productivity and convenience. Passengers from the US and Europe will benefit from an integrated security system that begins with a ‘known traveller’ programme. Swiss Skies is thus also offering the only non-stop air service between Washington D.C. and Geneva and will therefore facilitate air travel between these two distinguished cities. This link is a feather in the cap for Geneva International Airport and reinforces Geneva’s global standing."

yeah the plan is pretty much dead, they were supposed to fly last year but never ot appropriate approvals, the plan was to fly washington-GVA-afghanistan with a wet-leased MD-11 from World. the thing is how would you fill a plane like that to afghanistan with the high prices they were charging, perhaps once a week may have worked but what do you do the other 6 days
