I think John Travolta lived for a time in the Spruce Creek community southwest of DAB, but the runway there could not accomodate his jets, so he moved to this place north of Ocala. It has a 9000 foot runway.

IS THIS FOR REAL or just a faked photo?

Where is the runway (the planes don't seem to be STOL type).

It's real and this is the 4th time it's been posted.

Luckily though, I'm too lazy to look for all the links.

As you are looking at the photo, the runway is out of the picture to the left, basically 90 degrees to the way the 707 is facing.

The location is near the town of Anthony, FL, which is a northern suburb of Ocala.

It's disgusting the way some people have to live.

THAT IS ONE COOL WAY OF LIVING!!!! Your own jetliner and bizjet parked right at home? Amazing. What'll they think of next/

BTW, any ideas of what John plans on doing once the vintage 707 gets too old to fly? I hope he'll donate it to some Australian museum in that Qantas livery.

Just as a side note...The 707 flew into Tampa Int'l on Thursday evening (July 1) around 7 pm. I was leaving the airport, and saw it landing! What a great surprise!

I wish John was a fan of NASCAR so he could fly his 707 to DAB today for the Pepsi 400.

When John lived in Spruce Creek, he kept his 707 at SFB.

Whats the largest plane that flies into Spruce Creek btw?

Isnt there another aviation community south of Ocala? I thought I remember seeing it the last time I was on I-75. There is some aviation community that is right by the freeway.
