Will I Get On A NW New Colors?

At the end of the month I will be routing MKE-MSP-LAS-PHX, on NW, and HP. MKE-MSP and MSP-LAS will both be on 757-200s I was just wondering what are my chances of getting on a new colored bird, they look really smart.

If my casual observation of NW 757-200s at MSP and PHX on three occasions during the past month is any indicator, your probability of being on a 752 in the new colors on either flight segement is about 1 in 4.

Well, I wouldn't care about getting on New colors, but I would care about getting on Old colors. The new colors will be here for quite some time. The old colors are going bye bye.

I was sitting out in my back yard this afternoon, and saw many, many NWA aircraft with the new colors going into Detroit Metro...at one point, between 3P and 4p, I saw at least 10 in a row. I must admit, I do see quite a few 757's still in the old colors....and.....quite a few DC9's. It looks like many of the 319 and 320 aircraft have the new colors.

I saw 2 NWA A330's on final for rwy 21L (they usually do not land on that runway) this afternoon....I've said this before....that new A330 with the new colors against a bright blue sky background....there is no aircraft more pleasant to look at.

Having a smoking section in a restaurant is like having a peeing section in a swimming pool.....

Your chances are slim that you'll get a new colours 757. Especially if your flights are assigned ships 5650-5657 as it seems they are still in the old livery. I know ships 5501-5527? are in the new colours.
