SAA Service / Ife In Y Class On A342

Hi there, I am travelling India to JNB on SAA this weekend - any info on the inflight service/seats and IFE in economy ? The aircraft type is A342.

As it is an ex LH aircraft you will have to do without PTVs (just mainscreen entertainment) in Economy Class.

Flew ZRH-JNB on 20DEC03 and the 342 don't have any IFE onboard. I was lucky enough to have 4 seats for my self and slept the entire flight, so no need for an IFE.

IFE = Inflight entertainment.

Mainscreen movies and audio channels classify as IFE. Maybe you were thinking about PTVs.
