I liked how the one guy (who was being rude/abusive and couldn't get on the MDW-STL flight) was of the opinion that since he didn't "see" any weather outside the window, weather couldn't -possibly- be affecting his flight.

I wish they would come out with a more up to date Airline UK though.
We are years ahead of you! There's Holiday Airline too
A new season of Airline is in the works, maybe it's time for your TV networks to put the UK on more frequently and bring you up to speed. They could also show the earlier season you missed which featured Britannia.

The real scary part of the episodes this week is that the real jerks weren't drunk. I couldn't believe Coleen yanked that guy off the plane. Personally, I would have been thrilled to get rid of him. I feel sorry for the family of the guy who was bumped from the BWI-BUF flight. I would rather spend the next year in Iraq than being cooped up in a car for 10 hours with that nut.
And speaking of Coleen, remember that the camera adds a lot of weight to people anyway. Yes, she is no Britney Spears, but she wouldn't get called a "customer of size" either.

I loved that part as well. Talk about a major idiot! Sadly enough, I have heard that numerous times at different airports and just had to laugh to myself.
I would have to say that one of my favorite characters tonight was Victor in Chicago. His attempts to get two passengers off the MDW-MCI flight were quite amusing. "Come on, Chicago is so much more exciting than Kansas City!"
Unfortunately, they did not have my favorite person from last season, Susie, on tonight.
They are planning to add two new airports, BWI (which was added tonight), and IAD, which WN does not fly to. Do you all think that this is an error? They did not have anywhere tonight besides MDW, LAX, and BWI, did they?

For the people going to BUF, what was WN doing saying "We have 5 boarding passes left" and then giving 2 of them to someone else. The family could have done something like the mom & kids take the flight, and the dad stays and waits until the morning. That is a logical resolution for that problem. That was rather irresponsible of WN.

WhiteHatter, I am aware that the UK is ahead when it comes to the airline/airport shows, I am from England I used to watch them all the time, I am just saying I wish we could see more up to date British versions over here.
As for the US show last night and the offloading of that stupid passenger, I agree with WN when they offloaded him. Some of you guys are just saying you would have got rid of him but the thing is you cant let people get away with acting like that anymore. Imagine how he would act once you put him at 38000ft with a few drinks inside him, you never know!!!
There should most definitely be a ZERO tolerance for passengers like that!!!

I can't believe how illogical that guy was who was complaining about the weather and yelling at the agents. That dude had no clue what he was talking about. I guess he was a professional swearer because whenever he asked to talk professionally you'd hear another 'bleep'! Then he comes up with a great line: "Do you see any rain outside?" Pretty funny. Then he continues to the next gate and apparently is rude to the agents there but they still let him board the flight! I don't know why they let him board like that... or does a supervisor have to deny boarding?
It's funny when I tell people I love planes and they think I'm weird.

I'm quite looking forward to catching the repeat later this week! Is Colleen one of the agents at BWI? I dont' recognize the name from last season. I'd heard the teasers on the radio yesterday "Weather? How can there be weather? Look out the window....!" (something to that extent, not intended to be a direct quote) I can't wait to see that segment!

I thought it was a great episode last night. I was also touched by how one of the rampers at LAX went to a body building competition and competed in memory of his late wife. I can't wait till the next episode.

Has anyone heard if they might be covering the station opening in PHL this season. I would think that since it was the first station opening since the show began, that it might be something that would be shown.

Colleen Bragiel is a Customer Service Manager at MDW.
She's a kick ass CSM! She really gets the job done and she doesn't take any bullsh*t from anybody. You can tell that she genuinely cares about her staff and how they're treated. I'd love to work with Colleen.
I was also surprised when she yank that jack@ss off his STL flight, but had this HUGE grin on my face when she did.
What's will all this garbage about Colleen's weight?
They were GOOD! Colleen's ass has gotten bigger I swear! She is so big she should be ashamed of herself.
Colleen is HUGE! True, the camera adds some pounds but she is a house! Her ass is as wide as a tractor trailer.

Hey guys, remember that the CSM's job is to make sure the flight is sent off safely and on time, not just to get obnoxious people out of her own hair. Colleen was absolutely right to get that guy off the flight to STL because he could easily have become a problem on the flight - the last place you need a loud, self-centered, possibly violent passenger these days. Congratulations to Colleen on a job well done.

Its not "I'd love to work with Colleen". I would say I'd like to have her work for me.
She's good, tractor or no tractor. She's good.
The one I can't figure is the Buffalo mis-cons. SW did nothing for those people and they mis-conned them. I think we are missing something in that whole section about the family from FLL to BUF. I cant believe good ole loved SW would just strand that family....but they did.
If two people agree on EVERYTHING, then one isn't necessary.
