While Comair flight Academy is a little more expensive than other flight schools....I feel that it is well worth it. I have met private pilots who do not have the grasp of knowledge that I have. I have to give the credit to God(who has not allowed me to crash) and to Comair's organized part 141 program. It is a good idea to try Comair, granted if you have the money..

There was a pretty negative write-up in last months Sport-Pilot. I belive the article was written by Howard Freid. Who used to do the Eye of the Examiner article in Flying Magazine a while back.

It is just more confirmation of why FAR Part 141 needs to be abolished.

Comair Flight academy is agood academy but it's extremely expensive. I was taking flight classes there and I had a terrible accident on the ramp when the fuel truck run over my legs. Thanks God, my heath condition is perfect now and I'm planning to resume my flight classes soon. So, if you go there, watch out!! The fuel truck driver might be blind!!!!

I have received a letter from the Vice President of Operations there. I emailed him about my hopes of being an airline pilot and requested some information to see what they were all about. In his letter, he said that I should call him and talk to him. If he thinks I am serious enough and quailfy, he will try to get me a visit to the academy, with airfare at their expense.

What are your thoughts?

Why does Part 141 need to be abolished?

Just wondering!
