Is it me or do the rows on TED aircraft seem to be a lot more I guess you can say close together then on other aircraft? I flew FLL-IAD a few weeks ago ad boy did it feel like the people in front of me's seats were hitting my knees while I was just sitting there. And I'm only 160 pounds I can just imagine how bad it is for someone over 160 pounds sitting in those seats.

It's no different from any other aircraft or any other airline.

In the few legs i have been (forced) to fly on TED (due to no mainline service anymore) i have experianced a whole lot of people on board. The blocking out of middle seats for Elite fliers is nice though. Cramped, no. It is all coach, and it is upsetting that some routes (namely ORD-PHX) will be all TED in the future making it impossible for us elites to use our E-upgrades to upgrade.

Ted is 40% 33" seatpitch and 60% 31" seatpitch. Better be a Mileage Plus Premier or higher if you want a 33" seatpitch. Or fly a carrier like Frontier where EVERYBODY gets 33" or 34".

Ualonghaul:

If you are from Singapore, how do you manage to fly TED?

Alphascan...
The last time I was on Frontier, it was a 31" pitch. One of those Boeing planes. In Economy Plus on TED, it is 36" inches of pitch. TED's got my business any day...

DLKAPA...
"If you are from Singapore, how do you manage to fly TED?"

Thats pretty easy...

SIN-LAX (SQ) LAX-LAS (TED) or
SIN-NRT (UA) NRT-ORD (UA) ORD-MCO (TED) or
the list goes on and on...
