Malaysia Airlines (MH) will inaugurate twice weekly flights to Chengdu with effective from September 4. Flights will leave KUL at 9:30 a.m. and arrives Chengdu at 2 p.m. Return flights from Chengdu leaves at 3:20 p.m. and arrives KUL at 7:50 p.m. All flights are operated by A333s. Expect the flights to go up to 3 weekly by November.

Another 2 upcoming Malaysia Airlines destinations in China are Kunming and Wuhan.
Looks like MH seriously wish to match SQ/MI's network in China. Soon MH might have to add these SQ/MI destinations as well - Shenzhen, Macau, Fuzhou, Nanjing & Chongqing. SQ/MI currently do not serve Kaohsiung & Wuhan.

Not only MH wish to match SQ/MI's china network but also TG who serves Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Kunming, Jinghong, Xiamen, and Hong Kong in mainland China plus both Taipe and Kaohsiung in Taiwan

That is interesting , I wonder whether A333 is too big for a route like Chengdu, I may be wrong through. I hope to see Wuhan-Singapore being served by one of the chinese airlines, probably China Southern ? B737-800 will be great !
