I see MAN are getting more & more transatlantic services, what chance of another transatlantic from Birmingham? AA shelved their Chicago service about a yr ago which was a shame as I used to use it regularly. Now have to travel to LHR

I think the reason AA halted the BHX service was more to do with operating restrictions at Birmingham than load factors on the route. I doubt they will come back as they are focussing on oneworld hubs at MAN and LHR.

Parents live nr BHX so it was easiest to stay with them and get a lift to the airport. I'm now in Phoenix, Arizona so interested in seeing if I can get back to Birmingham easier than via London. Dreaming of the day that an airline offers PHX-BHX direct!
