CHICAGO, July 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- United (OTC Bulletin Board: UALAQ - News) today launched its new cruise website, united.com/cruises, where visitors can purchase cruise packages from more than 20 different cruise operators, and earn and redeem United Mileage Plus miles for cruises. United is the only major airline to offer its frequent fliers the opportunity to both earn and redeem miles for cruises.

More than 20 different cruise lines, representing nearly all North American cruises, are affiliated with United Cruises, including Norwegian Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean, Disney, Carnival, and Radisson Seven Seas.

Mileage Plus members can redeem miles for a cruise or use a combination of cash and a minimum of 10,000 miles to purchase their cruise. United's Mileage Plus members will also earn one mile for every dollar spent on cruises at united.com, including purchases for shore excursions and other expenditures. United.com is offering 2,500 bonus miles for Mileage Plus members who book online until August 31, 2004. After August, Mileage Plus members will earn 1,000 bonus miles when they book their cruise through united.com.
