Just to confirm the plane involved was EI-CXO.
Flight BV1504 MXP-FCO-HAV with 273 pax.

16 pax were injured during the evacuation.

The flight time between take off and landing was only 3 minutes.
During take off on runway 16R with one engine on fire at V1 the captain decided to take off and declare emergency.
He turned right on the sea and then again right to land on the rwy 25.
Due to the high load all the wheels went flat.

Anybody know if it was an actual fire or just a fire warning?

According to press and people on board there was dense black smoke from right engine (including a strong vibration at the beginning of the take off), it's likely there was an actual fire, even if the smoke I think could come also from an engine stall (that's why they heard a strong vibration).
