New Livery For AF -- What Happened?

A couple of months ago, someone wrote here that Air France would introduce a new livery around mid-June. Seeing as how mid-June came and went about a month ago, is there any news on AF's proposed rebranding, if indeed there is to be one? Was that report simply an unqualified rumor?

Merci beaucoup.

They are more worried about having a 900 million dollar terminal not go to waste now than change liveries. I would be more concerend with figuring out the future of AF hub airport than putting money and effort twords asthetics.

Well.. they spent $900 million on an asthetic that won't work as a terminal.... so whats keeping them from spending the money on asthetics for the planes.... they obviously had their priorities in order.

Hey Obama, keep the change! I want my dollar back.

I would like to see a comnimation of the old Air France livery with some form of tricolor motif that reminds people of Air France throughout the decades past while expressing forward movement to the future. I think they could use the seahorse (hippocamphus) to better effect than they have in recent years, and while I like the current tail colors that still look modern and forward moving, I would not mind seeing something different.

Since they have taken the Euro white scheme about as far as it can go, the only other option is to go with a (GASP!) CHEATLINE!!

It might have been a corporate re-brand, to reflect the new AF/KL constellation - that would certainly make more sense than changing a livery that's instantly recognized around the globe.

Can I remind everyone that when it comes to money for CDG 2E, its ADP not AF that is in charge...

When it comes to a new livery, no one at AF has hear about anything.

What about a skyteam livery?

Hey, now a SkyTeam livery would really make some sense.....everyone has seen those Star Alliance schemes, I think SkyTeam would be good if they remembered to let the individual airliner keep its corporate logo prominent next to the alliance logo so passengers (both on board and on other birds viewing ) could keep some brand awareness.
