It appears that TIGERFLY are the world's smallest airline (1 a/c - 1 seat)

I wonder if they are ETOPS certified? I guess that would be ESOPS>>>  Laugh out loud
I wonder if it is a regular route for tourists they have or can you pick your own routes?

Is my Pan Am ticket to the moon still good?

That honor used to be awarded to Island Airlines out of Port Clinton, Ohio, who flew from the mainland out to the Lake Erie Islands. Years ago they even flew 4-AT and 5-AT Ford Trimotors out to the Bass Islands and Kellys Island, a short total route structure that took less than 35 minutes to complete.

I believe the airline certificate is now held by Griffing Flying Service of Sandusky, Ohio, who fly the route with various single engine aircraft, Piper Navajos and Brittan-Norman Islanders.

Maybe they will look at the 717 and save the line on Long Beach!

Do they have IFE? Will they replace their fleet with a NW DC-9? What's up with that old Livery?

No, but seriously looks like something I would love to do!

If you read carefully, it says they have already ceased operations....

therefore they are not the world's smallest airline anymore.  Big grin

Time for another vote!

And if you read even more carefully :

"Normal operations will re-commence in the second half of April 2004"

An airline usually takes a passenger from somewhere to somewhere. It looks like Tigerfly is just a sightseeing flight, taking off and landing at the same airport. It can call itself an airline, but calling itself one does not make it one.

What about DrukAir from Bhutan. They operate only one a/c.

Could be Patagonica 2000 (opb. Aero Sistema 2000 S.A., formerly Via Patagonia), who I flew on last year between Rio Grande (RGA) and Rio Gallegos (RGL).

This is all they have, a Metro reminiscent of a Piet Mondrian painting or the L'Oréal logo!
