Hello everyone,

today there's shown a TV report called "Jagd an der Startbahn" (hunt at the runway) about the spotter phenomenon on Germany's first TV channel (ARD) at 16:30h local time.

Don't know if this is old footage or new material?

Posted in this forum due to common interest and broader readership -- hope, nobody feels disturbed...

After reading the comment in the programm I think I've seen this documentation before.

There is a father and a son in it, where both of them are spotters and the son also collects aircraft models. They try to catch Thai's dragonboat ship somewhere, if I remember right.

Anyway, not a bad documentation...

Is it on 1ARD TV channel ? 16:30 local time = 14:30 GMT ?

It's amazing how German TVs are interested in aviation and railway transport docs !!! Is there a Lufthansa TV to compete with Bahn TV ?

TS-ior,

14:30 GMT is right, German summertime should be GMT+2...

I watched it and I liked it! Of course it's a matter of individual taste when some guys exitingly talk about the "ultimate" shot but it's raining...
