I asked this in another post, but it never got answered. I'm curious, how many commercial flights are there between JFK and EWR to LHR/LGW daily? I know that AA, UA, BA, AI and CO all fly this route, but I'm sure there some more that I am forgetting. Thanks!

Well BA offer 10 daily flights, VS have 4, CO have 2, AA have 6 and UA have 4. AI and KU have 1 apeice, and CX will shortly start their own (in trade off for VS SYD slots at HKG. So potentially 28. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Each Air India US city flight stops in a different city in Europe. JFK is LHR, EWR is CDG, and so on. It's quite a racket, and I think the good people at Air India will be happy when the 777-200LR is available and they can go nonstop Bombay - JFK.

Actually ORD is served from both LHR and FRa, LHR is served from both ORD and JFK and FRa is served from LAX and ORD. So there are 5 different transatlantic routes available (LHR-JFK, LHR-ORD, CDG-EWR, FRa-ORD, FRa-LAX).

Does VS operate more flights in the winter? I remember their being more flights, but that is when they were at T1 at JFK, but I doubt that had any effect.
