In the new Flight International U.S Airways has orders for 100 A139s, 22 A320s, 7 A330s, 40 737s and 54 CRJs. Is the 737 order correct, I thought they switched to an all Airbus fleet?

Hey CX747 whats the website address for Flight International. Um.. answering your question, they might still have some options or maybe those are just the orders US canceled and Boeing sued them over. In any event US will not be getting any more 737s

I do not think US Airways is going to recieve that order. They already do have enough 737's and want to replace most of them with the Airbus aircraft.

I think the goal of US Airways is to phase-out the 737's and MD-80/DC-9's as the new airbus planes come in. I do not think US will be getting any more 737's because they are in favor of the A319/320/330 aircraft which they are already reciving.

US Airways will not receive any additional new 737s. That must be the old Boeing order which has been resolved. US Airways could, however, take on some used 737s for temporary capacity needs.
