thanks but that page hasn't been updated since january 2003,
i had heard these planes were being sold to lufthansa or someone who was going to convert em to freighters and was wondering if anyone had any updated information on their status

Very good point. Having another look at the list, it looks like some of the DL MD-11s have not been updated. I remember a topic only a few days ago that said Varig was keeping their MD-11s, and if I remember correctly, they recently got another one.
