Hmmm.... good news! Amsterdam and Prague definately good news. Bring some competition online from KLM and CSA (Although to be fair CSA fares arent high anyway!).
Edingburgh... thought BA and flyBe had Scotland cocered, but we'll see! Moving into MyTravelLites backyard with Knock! Always beena good route for MYL, but can it support 2 operators? Geneva.. good news, MYL tried it, maybe baby can get it right..

MyTravelLite pulled out of the BHX-BFS market earlier this year.
I question if there is enough market for BA, FlyBE and now BMI Baby on the services to Belfast and Edinburgh. Hopefully people will see sense and still fly FlyBE with their greater frequencies, professional service and excellent prices. (Im not biased!)
I wonder if BMI Baby will survive on the Amsterdam and Belfast routes, if these have been tried by other LCC from BHX and failed, why will BMI Baby succeed?
BMIBaby have bought nothing exciting to BHX and is just the same old low cost routes which are already offered and are unlikely to be the cheapest, from previous experience of looking for flights with them.
MyTravel Lite is being very smart and already putting there Spanish destinations on sale for summer 05, they are first of the LCC. This will hopefully secure them seats for "earlybird bookers"
They should just go back to EMA where they belong and focus their Midlands hub in one place!

They've bought competition on AMS and PRG, which can only be a good thing for consumers! Looking now, you can do BHX-AMS with baby for around £60 return, KLM same dates are around £150! Also, we dont know what routes they'll bring new in Summer '05...

Living near BHX, I can only naturally contest this. Until now BHX has been underserved by LCCs. Ok, so some routes are duplified and there may not be room for everyone, but hopefully this will soon sort itself out. I feel there is room for everyone if they focus on their own markets etc...

DC-10 Levo, the reason for the job cuts at MYT is because they are getting rid of the boeing aircraft in the fleet, and going to just an airbus operation, at least thats what i heard on the news anyhow. Oh plus some jobs are going in call centres.
