IDE is in their 3rd tier of cities of which they are flying and a little over a month from initiation of all their new destinations. When are they going to announce their A320 cities? Are they going to announce any new RJ cities? I hope they will give more than a month's notice, which they did initially. Just wondering...

I could not find any airline or airport with "IDE" as their code. If you could provide us with more information, we may be able to help.

IDE is the three letter code for independence air
DH is the two letter code
"Independence" is the callsign
Freddie Laker ... May be at peace with his maker ... But he is a persona non grata ... with IATA

ERJ170, this article might shine some light onto the topic
"Rick DeLisi, a spokesman at the airline's headquarters in Dulles, Va., confirmed that the new airline has been talking with Tampa airport officials.
"Our policy is to wait until 30 to 60 days before launching service to make an announcement,'' DeLisi said."
As for the topic of more RJ cities, it might happen, it might not. It depends on the current markets and how they fare, and also on if any of the current RJ markets will receive some of the A319's (ORD,BOS ect). If we pull out of any markets or if the 319's replace some flights, then I would expect a few more RJ cities. In any event, it should be know 30-60 days before hand.

Ah, that is why I could not find it: Lists have probably not been updated yet.

Ahh cool..
so from what I have heard here and there.. the A319 cities are LAX and TPA so far.. I"m sure more have been romured with some real weight added. Pretty cool..
And TPA has 10 LCC? Dang! At RDU, we have 4 (FL, HP, WN, IDE) with 2 more highly possible (B6, F9). Are F9 and HP considered LCC?

I would also look for MCO to be one of the first cities. The Airbus has it's temporary MX base down there until the IAD facilities can be remodeled or built to handle the 319's.

This is from the atlantic coast website, its a proposed route map from the slide show presentation available under the for investors part of the web site. This route map shows the initial 36 cities, and POSSIBLE A319 cities. They might happen, they might not. It's also hard to tell what the dot is over (SFO or OAK ect).

Why doesn't JetBlue's route map look like this from JFK? Especially the dots over Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin! r/t flights to from NYC to Dallas are $1600 direct right now. Ridiculous! Assenine? Yes.
Independence, come to JFK and fly to Dallas! Pipe dream I guess.

Not a pipe dream, 17 flights a day to and from JFK on the Ijet, and hopefully one day service to Dallas. Just a quick connection in IAD would probably get you DFW-JFK cheap.

Wonder if Independence really becomes popular, and they need more capacity fast, would ACA/Independence ever consider pressing any of their FRJ's into service under the Flyi banner?

The way the contract is structured, DL takes control of the FRJ's because DL is terminating the agreement with ACA (Indy). DL appears to be sending the FRJ's to SkyWay...although it may take SkyWay a while to ramp up so some FRJ's may be grounded temporarily.

We are getting 10 FRJ's rite off the bat for Skyway in CVG. And by the end of next year we will have a total of 15-20 FRJ's out of CVG. First off in Nov when the takeover begins there are going to be 5 Skyway FRJ's repo'ed into CVG for the startup.
