Looks like pax had to wait 40 min. for the emergency crew to arrive. What an efficient service.

About the statements on the media about the 40 minutes wait that is just plain BS.

10, 20 or 40 min still is too much time for an accident!

But what it's more amazing is that people that didn't got injured made it to the terminal walking in their own foot!

Also aircraft stopped right next to the VOR. Can you imagine this Dc9 going all over the VOR, terminal, other aicraft? Btw, how many days would it take to get the VOR back? Anyone knows?

This was an important wake up call for MEX. MEX airport is getting worst and worst to fly each day! But sadly they're doing their new super terminal II for 30 more aircraft.
