Air China Cargo Orders Two Boeing 747-400 Freighters

SEATTLE, July 29, 2004 -- The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] today confirmed an order by Air China Cargo Co. for two Boeing 747-400 Freighters, valued at approximately $400 million at list prices.
The first airplane is scheduled for delivery in November 2005, followed by the second delivery in March 2006. The two freighters will be used on Air China Cargo's routes between China and North America.
Air China Cargo's two new Boeing 747-400 freighter airplanes will be powered by Pratt & Whitney 4056 engines.

AFAIK all Air China 747s are PW powered... I even guess this is the reason why they're purchasing all new frames

or maybe it is the best aircraft in the market for cargo, or its fits best to air china....whatever reason......good for boeing,,,,,
