While waiting for a 9:30 a.m. departure I watched a 747 take off. Nothing unusual about that, but this one had no markings and I've never seen that before (except on smaller "executive" jets). It had a white fuselage and a cobalt blue tail. I thought maybe a charter, but then why not have the name of the company? Then I figured privately owned, but by whom?

Anyone have any ideas?? Just curious.

thanks

Could this be the one you saw, or close to it?

I don't know it that plane is what Jake saw, but now my curiosity is piqued. Who owns the white plane?

(not many people but DoD get away without a number)....

I think Stirling nailed it--It was the shot with the white engine pods and just the tail blue. From my angle I could never have seen that small lettering saying "Atlas". Am a new "spotter" so thanks for the info!!!
