Tony, the A380 appears in the Airbus house c/s

Anyway I doubt ANA will order the A380, but they'll probably go for the 773 or a 747Advanced (if it's ever developed) to replace the 744 fleet in the future... i.e they'll stick with Boeing

The ANA 7E7 looks wonderful, but I'm wondering what the latest news is on the tail design?

It looks like Boeing's future isn't so dismal after all. I was getting a little worried!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Horus,
I meant the 7E7 in ANA colors. Sorry for the error.

The shark tail, at least the rounded tip seems to have been dictched judging by that picture. Also, I thought the tip of the nose was more pointed. Still looks cool, as for the A380...  Angry that's the ugliest angle, to portray an already ugly airplane.

WOW

The 7E7 in ANA colors looks AMAZING, its got the cool nose taht kinda makes it look like a supersonic plane. The inside looks really good to.

BTW, are the seats that are really spaced out Buz class, if so shoudlnt they be wider. Maybe its because its a prototype.

The A380 looks nice - I just hope that Boeing will manage to get the 7E7 looking like something that won't make my stomach turn over by the time it's actually up in the air...

For now, though, I guess I'll have to agree with Horus in saying that I don't see ANA ordering the A380 for the time being...

Frank

ANA is already an Airbus customer - why do you think they'll "stick with Boeing"?

http://www.ana.co.jp/amu/fleet/a32/main_fr.html

They've got a relationship with both companies. They're pragmatic. I'm sure they'd rather buy a 747 Advanced if it's got component commonality with the current 747, but Boeing has not announced any such thing and has repeatedly said the A380 is too big, which is practically a slap in the face to ANA who has been asking Boeing for a plane that big for a long time.

I have no doubt at all that ANA will buy the A380 unless Boeing announces a 747 replacement within the next couple years. They'll only wait so long.

Spacecadet, unfortunately ANA has decided to replace their A320s with B737NGs (-700s, I think)...

In other words, they've chosen to end their relationship with Airbus.

Looking at this pic of the A380, it looks just like it bumped it's head. The 7e7 in contrast looks like a mean, lean flying machine.

The windows on the 7E7 don't seem as tall as in previous images..

7E7 looks more like a spacecraft looking at the cockpit windows and the nose.

Don't think that this will be the final view of it, the airplane is an artists rendering of it! Btw, the dolphin tail is still there??
"The windows on the 7E7 don't seem as tall as in previous images.." Doesn't mean anything. As for the A380.. It reminds me of a plane with downs syndrome.
