If Continental had a hub at DFW with nonstop flights I would always fly them, unfortunantely good things take time.

To clarify, I would like to inquire about the service on Aeroflot and the condition of Aeroflot aircraft.

I don't think that incident was with Aeroflot.

Oh no, before this gets out of hand.... please do a search.. we have had far too many shouting matches on here about the incident.

Aeroflot are a prefectly normal and safe airline. Their aircraft are well maintained and the service is just 'average'.

Let's not get into another war over what airline it was.

It has been established that it was NOT the Aeroflot of today which had the son-in-cockpit-crashing-airbus incident.

Thanks...

Yeah, I agree completely with Ben's accurate comment.

I've only flown SU four times (twice on 310s, once on IL9 and once on 772), and can confirm that its service was perfectly acceptable but certainly just average. I especially enjoyed the IL9, although its interior was, frankly, shabby (carpet was coming up), but its cabin was amazingly spacious (the most spacious I've ever experienced) and its CC were fine. Contrary to popular belief, all the meals were quite all right, but, again, just average - but certainly edible.
