Sorry if this has been covered before-- couldn't find anything in the archives. I will be in MEX August 15-23 and when I get a little bored visiting with my wife's relatives there, I might like to do a little spotting at MEX. I seem to recall a pedestrian bridge that might give some pretty good views. Any advice or suggestions from you "avioncitos" out there? Muchas gracias por su ayuda.

I just got back from MEX two days ago. There is fabulous aircraft spotting there especially when the heavies from BA and Iberia come in. It is a very "spotter-friendly" airport and there are great views from most of the terminal waiting areas. Spend a lot of time spotting, sure beats being with the in-laws. The areas around the airport are also friendly to spotters. Be sure to take lots of pics. A great airport with great aircraft.

I'll also be transiting through MEX in October (4 hour layover), would appreciate any info as well if any sites are walkable from the terminals (MX international flight connecting to AM domestic)...
Thanks,

Also just saw the thread titled "Spotting at MEX Prohibited?" so I'll keep my eye on those responses, too.
Coming from RNO with all our domestic 737's and A320's, MEX is going to be a real treat. I don't care if MEX is overcrowded and needs expansion-- it is still a WAY cool airport!
