Hey guys. There is a FL 717 NC parked right in the cameras view at PHL right now. Camera 1 is the one you want. I saw it taxi in front of me. If anyone can confirm the flight number, I would appreciate it.

Mike

I think the schdules show it as AirTran 765 from PHL-MCO if it was departing around 11:13am. Also, Boston (Logan) AirTran 772 departs at 11:10 AM

FL 334 ATL-PHL arrived at 11:09 AM
FL 345 BOS-PHL arrived at 11:12 AM

Rgr that. But the aircraft came in around 11:15. I had him from ATL departing gate D15 to ATL fl. 753.

You missed the AirTran 717 that took-off about ten ,minutes ago. T/O right to left right now. Good eye though for the one sitting at the gate. But I thought that NWA DC-9-30 taxiing to the gate was much more interesting. Smile

Wait a minute.

I thought you said that you see one sitting at the gate. . .right now. I could swear I see one right now just to the right of that UA a/c. You can only see the top of the T-tail. . .it looks like Airtran to me. . .how about you?

There was also a UA ERJ N/C. But he departed a while ago. I wish I could get down there to see that FL N/C.

Correction to Jalto27R's post, FL 753 is a departure to FLL outta D15. He just pushed back.

FYI: I just saw another Airtran 717 pushback and is now headed towards the runways.

That makes three within a very small timeframe. Is PHL big with Airtran, or what?

I'm thinking 15-20 flights. Should be bigger though (IMO). Why let WN take all the low fare traffic?

Just watching the cam every now and then over the last 45 minutes. . .and I've already seen 5 Airtran 717s. That's almost 1/3 of their flights at PHL. Great spotting cam.

Yeah, just lucky that I managed to catch that FL NC, cause I would have otherwise given up on that camera, it's so laggy!

Does anyone know how many of these 717's have been painted in the new colors? The graphics on the camera are way too bad to tell what the reg. was.

So far I think only the new-delivery 717's are in the new livery. All previous 717's are still flying tan, until their next check/paint job is due. This is what I've gathered from other posts.
