The following Photos are from Retired PIA Captain Johnny Sadiqs personal collection. During his 37 years career with PIA he flew the DC-3, F-27, B707, DC-10 and the B747.

This photo was taken in late 1966. In this photo you can see Capt. J. Sadiq (left) and Capt. H.G. Arif with a PIA DC-3 Dakota. Capt. H.G. Arif was a refugee from Burma (Myanmar) when Muslims were being persecuted there. He joined PIA and came on DC-3s. The photo shows him on a familiarization flight to the Mekran Coast at Pasni Airfield on a DC-3 flown by Capt. J. Sadiq.

Photo taken at Gilgit Airport in 1963. From left to right: Capt. Zafar Khan, First Officer Johnny Sadiq and PIA Station Manager for Gilgit. In the background is a beautiful PIA DC-3 Dakota.

PIA Fokker F-27 over "Point Victor" in the Indus Valley. Capt. Johnny Sadiq took this photo when he was flying as Co-Pilot to Capt. Zafar Khan on a PIA DC-3. Later Capt. Zafar crashed on take-off from Chitral in a DC-3 and lost his leg in the accident.

1967 - F-27 returning from a Gilgit flight – Photo taken from the F-27 that was flown by Capt. Johnny Sadiq.

June 25, 1964, Dacca, East Pakistan - the result of an F-27 meeting a severe squall on landing. Capt. Saleem-ul-Haque was the skipper and Nana the First Officer – Photo courtesy of Captain Nana.

Very nice set of photos; particularly the DC-3s. What a great aircraft! Thanks for posting.

In reference to the Last photo.
The Fokker F-27 was approaching Dacca when a line squall passed over the airport. After crossing the runway threshold, the plane encountered severe gusts and limited visibility. The aircraft stalled and landed very heavily, causing both wings to break off.
