I was hoping somebody out there might be able to shed a little light on something for me.

As some of you know I am transferring schools at the end of this semester. The school I am going to has an A&P program. I am thinking of redirecting my efforts toward that program. One thing that I am looking at doing was seeing about getting the FCC license that you need to work on Avionics. I used to do radio work in the service and this would be a logical extension of what I used to do. I have not be able to find what you would call a wealth on information on that license.

Does anybody know if it is a standard Radiomans license or something special.
Where can I find more info about it easily. I looked through Fedworld,faa.gov and fcc.gov. They where a little less then helpful.

Where can a get a copy of the certification standards for the applicable license.
