Allegiant will begin non-stop service between MSN and LAS starting Sept. 30, 2004...I know there are a few MSN fliers out there who are excited about service to their airport. I didn't see any posts, so I hope this helps.

Maybe they're better off serving smaller markets trying to create business and not having to get the crap beat out of them by other large carriers on the route trying to stamp them out. It remains to be seen if their research was good. How many other airlines though, crashed and burned after trying to go too many places too soon? Who does Allegiant's ground handling at the various airports? Some places they're only in and out once per day. Also is their charter fleet segregated or does it rotate in and out with the scheduled aircraft? I wish them well.

Allegiants ground handling is done by various groups. They have some stations where they have their own people, and they contract other airlines at some stations. And actually, Allegiant is growing slowly so I dont think they are trying to go to too many places too soon.
