Is it still possible to get somewhat close to the Boeing 707 EL-AKJ at the Southend (UK) scrap area or is security to tight after the attempts to start fires by Essex hooligans? I walked around the airport on Saturday (took 2 hours and a lot of cold beer afterwards) but didn't attempt some of the more dodgy paths through the bushes.

Also, if anybody knows of any other stored 707's / DC-8's / BAC1-11s, reachable in a day trip from London (except Manston where I've been), I'd appreciate it a lot.
