Does anybody if AUA will held a special ceremony when the last MD-80 will leave the fleet? When will the last flight occure, and who will take those well maintained MD-80's?
Thanks

If it is true what they communicate, we still have a years time to discuss this, as the two MD-83 will still be used for the Summer charter season 2005.
The last MD-82 will leave at the end of this year and the 4 MD-87 also soon as more and more F100 are delivered.
Don't know about a special ceremony but I think it would make sense, because the DC-9/MD-80 was the aircraft that served them well for over 33 years.
